Bryan Rüegger will stay in Fribourg at least until 2025, while Loic Galley has signed a two-year contract extension.

HC Fribourg-Gottéron

For the 2024-25 season, HC Fribourg-Gottéron has renewed their trust in their netminders and will thus have the same trio in their goalie department. Convinced by his performance, the Dragons have decided to activate the option in Bryan Rüegger's contract: the 23-year-old will thus stay for an additional season as Reto Berra's backup.

As for Loic Galley, the 21-year-old has extended his stay in Fribourg for two more years. This season, Galley has been loaned to HC Thurgau in the Swiss League. He will also be loaned to HCT next season.

This season, Rüegger has defended six times the cage of HC Fribourg-Gottéron, averaging a save percentage of 0.891. For his part, Galley has posted a save percentage of 0.941 in eleven games for HC Thurgau.
