André Heim's previous contract with HC Ambrì-Piotta was valid until 2025. Well in advance, the center and the club have thus found an agreement for a contract extension. The 25-year-old returned to Ambrì at the beginning of the season after trying to earn a spot on the roster of the St. Louis Blues in the NHL.
As for Dominic Zwerger, the Austrian will play for an eighth and ninth consecutive season with the Biancoblù. The 27-year-old forward joined in 2017 from the WHL and has suited up in more than 300 games for HCAP.
For his part, Rocco Pezzullo has agreed to a long-term contract extension. He will stay in Ambrì for four additional seasons. The homegrown 22-year-old defender debuted in the National League during the 2019-20 season.
So far this season, Heim collected ten points in 22 games, Zwerger put up twelve points in 22 outings and Pezzullo recorded seven points in 30 games.
