Another early contract extension - Toni Rajala to stay in Biel until 2027

After announcing the contract extensions of head coach Martin Filander and goalie Harri Säteri, it is now the turn of a third Finn, Toni Rajala: just a few weeks before the start of his tenth consecutive season with EHC Biel, Rajala has put his signature on an extension for an eleventh year in the Seeland.

Throughout the next two seasons, the 34-year-old might reach second place all-time in the club's ranking - including playoffs - for assists (he is missing 38) and third place in games played (72 behind Sven Schmid). He is already second in points and goals, only behind Normand Dupont.
