Having hung up his skates not too long ago, Cory Emmerton is not done with hockey just yet. As Lausanne HC informed earlier today, the former forward will be part of their coaching staff next season. His responsibilities as an assistant are the development of individual players' skills, as well as supporting the staff in the preparation and application of tactical principles.
"Cory's arrival in the locker room is a real asset for the coaching staff", Lausanne's team manager John Fust states. "With his experience as a former player and his tactical knowledge of the game, he will play a key role in the personal development and technical progress of our players."
Canada-born Emmerton was previously part of the Lions from 2018 to 2023.
