As Phothockey.ch reports, the former player of Lausanne HC has decided to hang up his skates.
Following a lengthy injury the past season and the realization that he was happier without hockey, Paulin Mainot has decided to retire from hockey. The Frenchman forward had been part of Lausanne HC's organization since his junior years.
This past season, Mainot played eleven games on loan to HC Sierre, while the year before he had suited up in 47 games on loan for EHC Winterthur and two games for Lausanne HC.
