Arrived in Kloten in 2022 from HC Davos after changing four teams in six years, Axel Simic seems to have found stability with the Flughafenstädter: Simic will stay for at least two more seasons with EHC Kloten.
"Axel has a very good nose for goal and is in good harmony with his linemates. He unconditionally repays the great trust placed in him by our head coach Gerry Fleming" states Larry Mitchell, team manager of EHC Kloten.
This season thus far, Simic scored five goals and collected three assists in 13 games. His eight points make him the most prolific Swiss player in EHC Kloten's roster.
