With the Bianconeri, the 27-year-old has signed a three-year deal. EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy confirmed to the "Luzerner Zeitung" that Müller is not going to extend his contract with them: "I regret that we did not reach an agreement," he told the newspaper.
HC Lugano's team manager Hnat Domenichelli, on the other hand, is looking forward to having Müller on his team as of next season: "He is a forward who will be part of the first two offensive lines of our team, because he can play both as a center and as a winger."
Before Müller joined EV Zug last summer, he spent four seasons in the Ticino with HC Ambrì-Piotta. Over the course of the current season, he has appeared in 27 games for EVZ, in which he recorded 16 points (nine goals).
