On the notebook of several team managers, it seems that the Austrian forward has eventually agreed to sign an extension with the Bears.
As Klaus Zaugg writes on "Watson", SC Bern has inked Benjamin Baumgartner to a two-year extension. Despite the interest from other clubs, the 23-year-old will thus stay for a third and fourth season in the capital city.
So far in this season, Baumgartner dressed up 22 times with the Bears, scoring four goals and collecting six assists. His ten points rank him fourth among U24 players in the National League.
