Lausanne HC has signed Dominik Kahun to a deal valid until 2027, effective immediately. A member of SC Bern for the last three-and-a-half years, the German approached his now-former club with the desire to leave last night, which they agreed to.
"Given his current sporting situation and his merits, we have found a solution together and granted his wish", Bern's team manager Patrik Bärtschi states.
Kahun is yet to suit up in February and has only appeared in half of the Bears' games this season. His contract with them would have still run until 2027.
"The opportunity to sign him has come up recently, and we think he is a great addition to our team for the upcoming challenges", Lausanne's team manager John Fust notes. "We look forward to welcoming him to Lausanne in the coming days."
In 152 National League games, 29-year-old Kahun has put up 43 goals and 91 assists.
