The defenseman remains a member of the National League team for another three years until 2028.

Yanick Burren has signed a contract extension with EHC Biel, as the club announced today. He will be with them for three extra years, almost triple the time he has spent with Biel so far, having joined in 2023.
The defenseman has previously played for HC Ambrì-Piotta and SC Bern in the National League. In total, he stands at 368 appearances for the three teams. Besides that, Burren also suited up 42 times on loan for EHC Visp in the Swiss League.
