Despite a year left on his contract, the Swede is reportedly returning to his home country. A replacement might be on its way already.

Brymäs IF has been assembling some of their former players, and Christian Djoos is reportedly one of them. Although he is still signed with Lausanne HC for another year, Expressen writes that the defenseman is returning to Sweden on a long-term contract. It is said that Djoos himself would contribute to his own buyout.

Lausanne reportedly has their eyes set on a replacement - David Sklenička. The 27-year-old Czech defenseman spent the last season with Barys Astana in the KHL. Before that, he, incidentally, was a member of Brynäs.
