Due to personal and familiar reasons, Christian Djoos expressed the desire to return to Sweden, his home country, despite a contract valid until 2025. The Swede and the club found a solution for the early termination and now Djoos signed a five-year contract with Brynäs IF, his formative club.
To replace Djoos, Lausanne HC inked defender David Sklenička to a one-year deal. The Czech international suited up for Barys Astana this past season. Sklenička has been on the radar of team manager John Fust for a while: "He's a player we've been following for several seasons and who will be able to bring all his experience to the whole group.”
With the club from the capital city of Kazakhstan, the 27-year-old stepped on the ice 62 times, scoring eight goals and collecting 25 assists. In his international career, he participated in four editions of the World Championship and at the Beijing 2022 Olympics.
