"We've been following Erik Brännström for some time," John Fust, team manager of Lausannr HC, said. "His ability to anticipate, his mobility, and his ability to contribute offensively make him a modern and complete defenseman."
"Expressen" reported back in April that the Swede had signed with the National League team but the official confirmation only followed today. It will not be the first time the defenseman will play in the National League: he played ten games for the SCL Tigers back in the 2020-21 season.
Brännström played for four different teams in two leagues this season, suiting up for the Vancouver Canucks, the Abbotsfort Canucks, the Hartford Wolf Pack, and the Rochester Americans.
