"HockeyNews.se" reported last week that Johan Sundström might join the ZSC Lions for the final stretch of the season. His now former club Vaasan Sport was looking to offload some players from their roster, as they are currently last in the league.
Sundström will replace Andy Andreoff. "We're not bringing Johan in primarily for his scoring points, but rather so that he can stabilize us and help us in key situations such as the penalty kill, power play, and faceoffs," Sven Leuenberger, team manager of the ZSC Lions, said.
Sundström has played 32 games so far this season, scoring eleven goals and recording eight assists. The Swede will likely be eligible to play sometime next week.
