As anticipated by "La Liberté" earlier today, HC Fribourg-Gottéron and Julien Sprunger have agreed to terms.
The 37-year-old forward will thus stay with the Dragons until the end of the 2024-25 season. Sprunger already revealed earlier this year that he would like to continue his career with HCFG and add another season to his record.
Sprunger has appeared in over 1,000 games for Fribourg, having made his pro debut in 2002. This season, the captain has recorded six goals and five assists im 29 games for the Dragons.
