"Blick"'s report from January has been confirmed today: the Swedish defenseman will indeed join Kloten from TPS Turku.

Max Lindroth, 28, has signed a two-year contract with EHC Kloten. It will be his second station outside Sweden in his career after spending the last one and a half year in Turku. "Max is a strong skater with a good shot and passing game. Despite his outstanding scoring qualities, he will also be able to help us defensively," states team manager Ricardo Schödler.

Lindroth indeed proved to have strong scoring qualities, having scored 23 goals this season, the most by any defender and eighth overall in the Liiga. With 52 points in 54 games, he was the top point-getter of his team.
