Confirmed - Philip Wüthrich stays with SC Bern

The contract of the 23-year-old goaltender would have expired at the end of the season. Team manager Andrew Ebbett already told "Watson" a bit over a week ago that the two parties were close to coming to an agreement. 

Wüthrich is a product of SC Bern's organization. After two seasons on loan with SC Langenthal, the goaltender received the opportunity to play regularly for SC Bern. He appeared in 21 games for the Bears in the 2020-21 season and has already suited up 17 times for SCB this season, putting up a save percentage of 0.916.
