Confirmed - Rob Cookson joins Lausanne HC

As anticipated by "Keystone-SDA", the 64-year-old Canadian has agreed to a two-year contract with the National League team, vaild until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Rob Cookson will serve as an assistant coach for Geoff Ward and will mainly be responaible for the defense. "Rob will bring a new dynamic behind the bench, while sharing his experience with the whole group. His arrival is fully in line with our desire to continue our development," John Fust, team manager of Lausanne HC, said.

Cookson is an experienced coach and has been part of the coaching staff of NHL and National League teams. For the last three seasons, he served as an assitant coach for the ZSC Lions.
