The 28-year-old goaltender has signed a five-year contract with Lausanne HC, valid until the end of the 2029-30 season.
"Le Matin" already reported in April that Connor Hughes would return to Switzerland and Lausanne after playing one season in the Montréal Canadiens' organization. As his signing has now been confirmed, it is also clear that he and Kevin Pasche will serve as Lausanne HC's goaltending tandem next season.
Hughes has appeared in 29 games for the Laval Rockets, the Habs' AHL affiliate, this season. He posted a .905 save percentage.
