Genève-Servette HC has announced the signing of defender Ramon Untersander. The 35-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Grenats, running until 2028. “He has already achieved numerous successes throughout his career and, thanks to his vast experience, leadership qualities, and composure on the ice, Ramon will significantly strengthen our defence,” says GSHC sporting director Marc Gautschi on the signing of the veteran.

Untersander most recently played for SC Bern for eleven years and served as captain for the last two seasons. With the Bears, he won the Swiss championship three times and the Cup once. At the end of April, the club announced that they would no longer be planning with Untersander from next season onwards. Consequently, the remaining contract has now been terminated by mutual agreement.
