Cory Emmerton has hit the ice in 196 games for Lausanne HC, but now it is clear that there will not be any more. The club has bid their forward farewell: "Hard-working and smiling, Cory is a player who has won the hearts of LHC fans both on and off the ice," the club writes in a press release.
Over the past five seasons, Emmerton recorded a total of 103 points, including 45 goals for the Lions. Before coming to Lausanne, the Canadian had played with HC Ambrì-Piotta for three seasons and also had a short stint with the KHL's Sibir Novosibirsk.
