EV Zug will have to make do without their head coach for a while. The 45-year-old Norwegian will undergo back surgery.

Dan Tangnes will get the procedure on February 3 and is expected to be out for a while after that. He will be replaced by Michael Liniger, who will be the team's head coach next season.
Liniger's assistant position will be filled by Reto Suri who is normally part of the U20 team's coaching staff.
