Dario Rohrbach has a contract with SCL Tigers until the end of the 2025-26 season, but that could be his last championship with the Tigers before joining another club with bigger financial means. "That's clear to us. He already had several financially lucrative offers when he extended his contract with us until 2026, but decided to stay for sporting reasons," states team manager Pascal Müller to Klaus Zaugg on "Watson".
“It may be painful in the present if we lose Dario after next season, but in the longer term, it will be good for us: in three years with us, he has developed into one of the best Swiss forwards. During this time, Stéphane Charlin has also become the best Swiss goalie with us," continues Müller, highlighting the formative role of the club in shaping the two players.
Rohrbach indeed had a breakout year, collecting 32 points (including twelve goals) in 50 regular-season games and adding seven more points in eight playoff games, setting personal career-highs in all three major statistics (goals, assists, and points).
