After terminating his contract with Lausanne HC by mutual agreement, Dario Sidler has already signed a new deal - for three-and-a-half years, as a member of EHC Kloten. He will stay with them until 2027.
"Dario has his strengths on the offensive end and can help us a lot in our situation", team manager Larry Mitchell says about his new, 20-year-old protégé. "As captain of various junior national teams - most recently the U20 national team - he already has plenty of leadership experience at his young age. He fits perfectly into our long-term strategy."
A product of EV Zug's youth department, Sidler made his first steps in men's hockey during the 2020-21 season. When the EVZ Academy ceased to exist in 2022, he joined Lausanne instead. This season so far, the defender mostly suited up for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds.
