Dominik Egli to return to Switzerland, signs long-term deal with HCD

"Re-signing Dominik was a big priority for us. We have stayed in touch since he left and made it clear to him at the time that he would always be welcome back at HCD. Dominik has taken the next step in Sweden, and we are convinced that he will be a valuable addition to our team starting next season," team manager Jan Alston said. 

Dominik Egli is currently in his second season with Frölunda HC. Egli had always wanted to play in Sweden, and he achieved his goal when he signed with the SHL team in 2024. Last season, he recorded four goals and 14 assists in 38 regular-season games.
