"Dominik is an experienced player with leader qualities. He will be a reinforcement for us due to his speed, his shooting abilities, as well as his hockey sense," Reto Kläy, team manager of EV Zug, states.
Kläy also adds that they are aware of the risks of signing Kubalík as the forward might make use of the transfer agreement with the NHL and thus not play for them after all.
The forward played five seasons in the NHL before returning to HC Ambrì-Piotta in 2024. This past season, he recorded 27 goals and 22 assists in 52 regular-season games.
