This early contract extension is a sign that, for their future, the SCL Tigers are counting on Martin Neckar, who has been a member of the Tigers' organization since 2019. The 19-year-old will be the third goalie in the hierarchy of the National League club, but will also have the opportunity to accumulate minutes in the Swiss League with EHC Chur, which owns his B-license.

Last year, Neckar already suited up for EHC Chur, posting a .920 save percentage in 15 regular-season games. He also participated with France in the junior World Championship (Division 1, Group A).
