SC Bern and the 30-year-old defender have prematurely terminated their contract, originally set to expire in spring 2024. He will now move west.
From now until the end of the season, Jesse Zgraggen will no longer wear the jersey of SC Bern but that of HC Ajoie. In Porrentruy, he will be reunited with head coach Christian Wohlwend, for whom he had already played in Davos during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.
In fifteen games with the Bears this season, Zgraggen collected one assist while averaging one blocked shot and 14:35 minutes on the ice per game.
