Effective immediately - Nicolas Petan quits Ambrì-Piotta

Nicolas Petan will no longer be part of HC Ambrì-Piotta, effective immediately. As the club states, this comes after a request by the player due to personal reasons, which they accepted. They wish him good luck for the future and thank him for his professionalism.

As team manager Alessandro Benin explains to "RSI", the club asked Petan whether they could expect a reaction from him after a disappointing start. The Canadian replied negatively, stating that he would rather return home and take a break. Benin is now looking at the market without a particular profile in mind, even taking into consideration the possibility of hiring a third import defender.

Petan had joined the Biancoblù this summer on a two-year deal. In his 15 games with them, the 30-year-old Canadian recorded one goal and three assists.
