After four years in the Swiss League, Luis Janett is apparently ready to land a job as a backup in the National League. Thanks to his performances, the 23-year-old product of EHC Kloten has ended up on the wishlist of EHC Biel and two other unknown National League clubs.
Last season, Janett averaged a save percentage of 0.936 in 17 regular season games and 0.915 in the playoffs. Janett is doing even better this season, with a save percentage of 0.943. Moreover, on October 13 he stepped on the ice for his first National League game, playing 17 minutes with EHC Kloten (four saves).
