The 36-year-old forward will not receive a new contract from HC Fribourg-Gottéron, has, however, told the media that he would like to continue his career.
One thing is already clear, though. Andrei Bykov will not suit up for EHC Biel next season. "No, not at all," Martin Steinegger tells "La Liberté" when asked if they are interested in the forward. "Not a chance. The current trend is towards rejuvenation."
Bykov has only ever played for HC Fribourg-Gottéron throughout his career as a professional hockey player. This season, he has recorded five goals and seven assists in 38 games.
