With his contract with EHC Kloten expiring next spring, Jonathan Ang has started looking around at the options for his future. Apparently, Biel is the preferred destination for the 25-year-old, who is thus likely to leave EHC Kloten next summer. Of the current imports on EHC Biel's roster, only defender Alexandr Iakovenko has a contract valid also for the next season.
After two years with HC Thurgau in the Swiss League, Ang followed EHC Kloten to the National League. Last season, Ang collected 50 points in 55 games, leading EHC Kloten in goals and points. In three games so far into the season, the forward recorded one assist.
