As EHC Kloten informed, they have signed Simon Meier to a two-year deal. The forward has been playing for the British Columbia Hockey League's Penticton Vees since 2023. Prior to that, he spent his junior time with Kloten. As part of his return, Meier, 19, will reunite with his twin, Rafael, who is already part of the National League team.

"Simon is highly skilled technically and brings a lot of creativity to the table", team manager Ricardo Schödler states. "He therefore perfectly fits into our DNA. As a player from our youth system, he knows the club extremely well and understands which virtues are required to be successful in Kloten."
