According to the same source (relayed by "Hockeysverige.se"), Einar Emanuelsson might stay with HC Lugano after all. There are, however, also rumors connecting him to Finland. Emanuelsson had joined the Bianconeri in November due to not having a roster spot with Luleå.
In 26 games for Lugano this winter, Emanuelsson recorded seven goals and three assists. His contract with Luleå is valid until the end of the 2027-28 season.
