"Hockeynews.se" recently reported that Einar Emanuelsson will be introduced as HC Lugano's new import forward. Emanuelsson has not received a lot of ice time from Luleå lately and apparently was looking for a change. As a member of the Bianconeri, he will be filling in as injury replacement for Brendan Perlini and Rasmus Kupari.
"Einar is a fast, determined winger who plays with a lot of energy and intensity", team manager Janick Steinmann notes. "I am delighted to have him with us, and I am convinced that within our team environment and with our technical staff, he will be able to help us for the rest of the season."
28-year-old Emanuelsson, who has been playing for Luleå since the U18 level, has appeared in 19 games for the SHL team this season, recording two assists. As the move to Lugano is a loan, he is still under contract with the Swedish team until 2028.
