EV Zug agrees to terms with defender Jacob Moverare

Jacob Moverare has already arrived in Switzerland and will join the team for the start of the preseason. "Jacob embodies many of the qualities of the EVZ organization. He has a lot of character and is a true team player. On the ice, he is a big, agile defenseman with a high hockey IQ who is just entering the prime of his career," team manager Ted Suihkonen said. 

The defenseman made his pro debut in the SHL but has been under contract with the Los Angeles Kings since 2018. Drafte in 2016, he played his first game for the Kings in the 2021-22 season. He appeared in 111 NHL games and 166 AHL games for the organization. Last season, he suited up in 15 games for the Kings.
