EV Zug confirms departure of Reto Kläy

“I would like to express my gratitude for twelve incredible years at EVZ. During this time, I had the privilege of working with many wonderful people and celebrating athletic successes that will remain with me forever. This makes it all the more regrettable that the Board of Directors’ vision for the club’s future strategic direction no longer aligns with my own," Reto Kläy said in a statement provided by EV Zug. 

His successor, Ted Suihkonen, has been EV Zug's head of development since 2022. He will take over Kläy's tasks effective immediately. He will be supported by Reto Suri, who is currently the head coach of EVZ's U21 team.
