EV Zug has reportedly found their new assistant coach

Information gathered by the newspaper reveals that the replacement of Lars Johansson is an experienced coach who not only knows Swiss hockey well but has also gained a wealth of experience in other European leagues. Moreover, EV Zug's head coach Dan Tangnes knows him very well. The new assistant coach is expected to be behind the bench for Zug's game on January 2.

As for Johansson, he apparently gave the impression that he lacked a bond with the team. He seemed distant and elusive, the newspaper reports. As he is still on Zug's payroll, team manager Reto Kläy hopes to find an amicable solution soon.
