Not very pleased with some imports, the National League team is looking to acquire different ones. There is a list of 20 to 30 players.

Sitting down with the "Luzerner Zeitung", EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy recently talked about the disappointing season his team had. Part of it was in regards to the underperformance of the imports and possible options for reinforcemenets. Dominik Kubalik's services have apparently been offered to Kläy. The Czech spent the last season with HC Ambrì-Piotta and is on an expiring contract.

A Slovakian forward is also in the mix - Tomas Tatar, currently a member of the New Jersey Devils, but also on an expiring contract. "I will not go into individual names in detail. There is a list of 20 to 30 players. He is one of them", Kläy states in regards to the teammate of Nico Hischier, Timo Meier, and Jonas Siegenthaler.

In general, Kläy notes that it is not clear what changes there will be. "It has been clear for some time that we want to start the new season with five forwards and two defenders on the import positions. We need an additional winger." All of Zug's current imports have ongoing contracts.
