With HC Thurgau, Mischa Geisser will be able to get more minutes on the ice compared to staying in Zug, where eight other more experienced defenders will compete for playing time. The move to Thurgau will allow the 19-year-old to get more responsibilities and develop further.
Due to the several injuries that afflicted EV Zug's defenders last season, Geisser has already suited up 26 times for the Bulls, without collecting any points.
Geisser is not the only player joining HC Thurgau via B-license: EHC Kloten's Cyril Keller, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's Alessio Guignard, and Lucas Hedlund will also be available to HCT.
Moreover, Nils Bächler will join HC Thurgau via A-license. The goaltender last played for EHC Biel's U20 team. He will complete the goaltending team and also get the opportunity to play in the MyHockey League.
