The name of the 39-year-old will be placed on EV Zug's Wall of Fame at the Bossard Arena.

The ceremony in honor of Tobias Stephan will take place on December 1 ahead of the game against EHC Kloten, his junior team.

Stephan is a product of EHC Kloten's organization but played his first pro games for EHC Chur in the 2001-02 season. Drafted by the Dallas Stars in 2002, he also played three seasons in North America and made his NHL debut in the 2007-08 season.

In 2009, he returned to Switzerland and stayed with Genève-Servette HC for five seasons. In 2014, he became a member of EV Zug and stayed with them until he signed with Lausanne HC in 2019. He retired in 2023.
