EV Zug recently announced that team manager Reto Kläy was relieved of his duties. While the replacement for Kläy is already in place, they will have to find someone to fill the vacant CEO position.

Patrick Lengwiler was informed by the board of directors that they would no longer count on him as of 2027. Lengwiler thus decided that he could no longer fulfill his overall responsibilities as CEO of the EVZ and as the developer's representative for the OYM hall expansion project.
Lengweiler thus leaves EV Zug effective immediately. He has been with the organisation for almost 30 years and has been its CEO since 2012. It remains to be seen who will replace him.
