Already signed until 2024, Miro Aaltonen has agreed to a contract extension with EHC Kloten, making him one of their members for an additional year. The Finn recorded 19 goals and 32 assists in 54 games this season.
He will get another Finnish countryman to play alongside him. Niko Ojamäki, joining from Tappara Tampere, has been signed to a two-year deal by Kloten. After spending most of his career in Finland with Ässät and Tampere, the 27-year-old left for a little trip to the SHL and the KHL in 2020, only to return to Finland for this past season. Ojamäki contributed 24 goals and 30 assists in 69 games to Tappara's 2023 Liiga-title.
The other new import coming to Kloten, Tyler Morley, is joining on a one-year contract. Since leaving North America in 2017, the Canadian has been on a tour through Europe's leagues, with stops in the EBEL, the Liiga, the SHL, and, most recently, the DEL. As part of the Grizzlys Wolfsburg, the 31-year-old put up 19 goals and 39 assists in 63 games.
