The Latvian forward will stick around for another two years. His contract would have otherwise run out at the end of the current season.

The SCL Tigers have announced a contract extension - Oskars Lapinskis is staying on board until (at least) 2027. He joined the organization in 2016 as a junior and has been along for the ride in the National League since 2021.

"Oskars has known the organization for many years and is an explosive forward who brings a lot of speed and energy to our game", team manager Pascal Müller comments. "We are delighted to have been able to extend the contract with another home-grown player at an early stage."

So far this season, the 22-year-old - who is in possession of a Swiss player's license - has recorded one goal and assist each in ten games.
