“After handling the various additions to our team, it was important for our organization to retain certain key members of our dressing room”, team manager John Fust states in Lausanne HC's announcement of the extensions for Jason Fuchs, Aurélien Marti and Kevin Pasche.

21-year-old Pasche made his debut in the National League last season, after returning to Lausanne from a two-year stint in the USHL. The netminder made 20 appearances in the regular season plus an additional two in the playoffs. With his extension, Pasche will remain a Lion until 2027 (instead of 2026).

Marti, also a former Lausanne junior who went to play elsewhere, has been back with his youth team since 2020. The 30-year-old suited up 54 times for his colors last season.  In his case, the extension turned a contract expiring next summer into one lasting until 2028.

Last, but not least, Fuchs — not a former junior of Lausanne — also had an expiring contract. His extension is the longest of the three, making him a Lion until 2029. The forward has been with the club since 2021, his third station in the National League. Throughout the last season, the 28-year-old accumulated 18 goals and 27 assists in 71 games.
