As of next season and until spring 2026 Rico Gredig will be under contract with HC Davos. Gredig joined the organization of Davos in 2018 from EHC Chur and since then he suited up 28 times in the National League and participated in the U18 and the U20 World Junior Championships.
Team manager Jan Alston emphasizes Gredig's great potential and believes he earned this contract with hard work: "In just five months, Rico has worked his way up from the U20 squad to the main squad. And when his ice time increased in recent weeks due to injuries, he seized this opportunity and showed us how far he can still go."
This season, Gredig scored two goals and recorded two assists in 28 National League games, to which he added 15 points in 17 games with the U20 squad and one assist in five games at the World Juniors.
