First professional contract with Langnau for Niclas Rentsch

The SCL Tigers have inked Niclas Rentsch to his first professional contract. Over the last few months, the 18-year-old earned the praise of Pascal Müller. "Niclas is another example of the path we are taking with our young players", Langnau's team manager states. "He made a positive impression during summer training with the first team and deserves this opportunity."

A product of the Tigers' youth department, Rentsch made his first appearances in men's hockey with partner team EHC Chur as part of their preparation, but also suited up for Langnau in their preseason game against EHC Kloten.
