For the next two seasons - HC Davos signs Canadian defender Frédéric Allard

“Frédéric has exactly the qualities we were looking for in this position. He brings international experience, a winning mentality, and quality in both zones. His strengths in initiating attacks, in particular, are a perfect fit for our requirements,” says HC Davos' team manager Jan Alston on the latest acquisition. HC Davos has now eight imports under contract for the next season, but that includes Joakim Nordström, who hasn't played a game in almost two years.

Frédéric Allard especially distinguished himself during the 2024-25 season when he won the SHL championship with Luleå HF while being selected as MVP of the playoffs. On the occasion, he had collected 21 points in 17 games. This season, he scored five goals and recorded 21 assists in 41 games so far.
