As expected, the two forwards will no longer be with the Dragons the coming season. The club aims to go into it with six imports, and Kevin Etter is still in talks.

Part of end-of-season festivities includes saying goodbye to players leaving. As reported by the "Freiburger Nachrichten", HC Fribourg-Gottéron did so with Jakob Lilja and Linden Vey yesterday, making their expected departures official. The Swede and the Canadian had joined the team last fall, the former from HC Ambrì-Piotta (in exchange with Chris DiDomenico), the latter from the KHL.

Asked whether maybe one of them could have stuck around, Gerd Zenhäusern answered with no. "Because we are starting the season with six imports", the team manager notes. Only four currently signed, Michael Kapla and Henrik Borgström are still expected to complete the Dragons' import squad.

On the Swiss side, Kevin Etter has been in talks with the club regarding a possible new contract, and a possible departure of Killian Mottet is not yet a topic.
