Born in Toronto but living in Switzerland since 2011, Benjamin Quinn has always been part of the GCK/ZSC Lions organization. That, however, will change next season, when he will join the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers for the next three years.

Janick Steinmann, team manager of the Lakers believes that the big right-handed defender has room for improvement: "Benjamin Quinn is a defenseman with a lot of potential. He is technically very skilled and I am looking forward to him having an impact on the positive development of the team in the coming years".

So far in this season, Quinn suited up 17 times with the U20 squad of the GCK Lions (13 assists) and 19 times with the GCK Lions in the Swiss League (zero points). Moreover, he is part of the preliminary roster of the U20 Swiss national team for the World Juniors.
